Considered by ESPN the third-best all-around athlete of any sport, Dave Winfield played 22 years in the majors for six teams, including the Yankees. A 12-time All-Star selection, Winfield won a World Series title in 1992 with the Toronto Blue Jays. He also won the Roberto Clemente Award in 1994 for his play on the field, as well as community service off it.

      CC on Dave:
Dave Winfield ( outfielder ) “I always thought he was a great athlete. My dad used to always tell me about how well rounded of a player he was. He excelled in three sports. If that’s not raw talent, I don’t know what is.”

Did You Know: : Players in the past have been traded for other players, draft picks or cash. But Winfield was the only player ever to be traded for a dinner.

"I grew up in the Boys & Girls Club, grew up in the inner city, saw everything that it can do for you," Sabathia said. "I was fortunate to be able to get out, and now I'm trying to give back."
