

Blessed with awesome speed and impressive reflex actions, Brock carved a stellar 18-year Hall of Fame career – most notably with the St. Louis Cardinals. When it was all said and done, he ended up being the all-time stolen base leader with 938 (the record would eventually be broken by Rickey Henderson). A six-time all-star and two-time World Series champion, he also ended his career with a .293 batting average and 3.023 hits.

Brock was the first player ever to bat in a Major League regular season game in Canada. He led off the April 14, 1969 game against the Montreal Expos.
